34 New Flats

What had been envisaged as a starting date within the next 2 years had been dramatically reduced with the successful application for 34 new flats adjacent and just west of the Queen Mary building.

Work has already begun with the site partly cleared and further work expected sooner than later.

New Buildings

In addition the 2 new 3-story houses at Avon Place is well under way and will further enhance the area.

Attractive western approach

These new developments support the proposed upgrading of the 'Coffin' block and Queen Mary building both of which, now with the necessary funding in place, will see Corbiehall transformed into an attractive and enhanced western approach to the town.
