Ambitious vision of the future

Fer Dijkstra, ING Real Estate UK

The presentation which followed, by Fer Dijkstra of ING Real Estate UK, in the meeting room of Bo'ness Library showed an ambitious and exciting vision for the development of Bo'ness harbour, docks and foreshore.

Harbour & Docks most important

The most exciting aspect was the focus on the harbour and docks as being the most important factor in the overall success of the project.

It was estimated that planning permission will be applied for around March 2005 with work commencing within 2 years from planning acceptance.

The first phase will be based around the harbour and docks with further work being undertaken to the east over the next 6 - 8 years.

"The most important development not only for Bo'ness, Falkirk & Forth Valley but possibly for the whole of Central Scotland"
